Enjoy a leisurely stroll up the road and discover local amenities, including the Roberts Creek General Store, Canada Post Post Office, Roberts Creek Health Foods Store, http://www.outdooradventurestore.ca/ Alpha Kayak Adventures, and of course the Gumboot Café & Restaurant. Treat yourself to a cup of tea or a coffee and read one of the local newspapers on the Sunshine Coast: The Coast Reporter or The Local.
Roberts Creek Pier and Local Beach (15 minutes from Luciana’s Retreat by foot)
Enjoy a lovely stroll on a sandy beach at low tide!

Winter Season Visitors: For the more adventurous, explore Dakota Ridge (15 minutes by car) where you will find scenic vistas overlooking the ocean and Trail Islands and wonderful snowshoe and cross country trails in the winter.
Smuggler Cove Provincial Marine Park; (35 minutes by car) Experience a moderately easy hiking trail which winds through the rainforest, a beaver bog and marsh and terminates at the ocean’s edge.
